One of my students, having failed a quiz on a short story, scolded me for the difficulty of the quiz. "Your quizzes don't test reading," he noted. "They test comprehension."
Caught off guard, I just gaped as he walked out with his F. I hope, at some point in his life, he realizes why he got that F.
