Why we're here

Welcome to our new team blog. I guess I'll be the first one to kick everything off. We ladies spend our time teaching college students. As we found ourselves telling each other stories of the crazy things that go on in our classrooms and with our students, we thought it time that we create a forum to share the stories more readily. Of course, we do so with goals for complete anonymity. We've changed names to protect the guilty.

For those of us writing the blog, it gives us a place to share these stories without always having to bore our friends and family with them. We hope that for you, our reader, it gives you a place to share your own frustrations as an educator, or perhaps even as a student.

I imagine we’ll share stories of lessons gone wrong, problem students, pedagogical challenges, embarrassments, grading woes, etc. We aim to productively discuss these issues humorously rather than by whining or being offensive. Don’t take us too seriously – this is all adjunk after all.
